Simpsons Gin Bar is set to open in Sutton Coldfield in February, and there's a local celebrity and his family behind the project.
Better known for hits like Somebody to You and Wildheart, teenage heartthrob Brad Simpson of The Vamps is on board.
In fact the bar is very much a family affair. The Simpsons are Sutton Coldfield locals and the business was conceived by Bradley's mom Anne-Marie.
She told the Sutton Observer:
“While the current bars in the town have some great options, Simpsons aims to create a lounge venue where you can enjoy good drinks in opulent surroundings with expert staff providing great service.
“We thought there was definitely a gap in the market. This is a Sutton family investing in Sutton."
His father Derek and sister Natalie will also be closely involved, as equal partners in the business.
Brad's latest career move will see the 21 year-old take on the role of marketing manager.
He's hoping the new bar will bring a touch of glamour to his hometown, having experienced the delights of the capital:
“We will go for a drink after a gig in London, in Greenwich we went to this place that was down some stairs. It's something Sutton doesn't have."
Fan of his music? You'll be pleased to hear he plans to DJ now and then at the new gin bar.
How will Simpsons Gin Bar be different?
The family plan to have a jazz speakeasy style atmosphere, as well as table service.
Live music nights will see a variety of acts take to the stage to entertin guests.
The 1920s theme will carry through into the decadent decor, with crystal glasses, leather seats and chandeliers.
Gin will be king, but other drinks behind the bar will include rum, whisky, champagne and cocktails.
There will also be a few bottled beers for THAT person who won't touch anything else.
Food will focus on continental-style tapas offerings designed to complement drinks, including fish, cheese and olives.
