Situated 16 floors above Birmingham and giving diners a panoramic view of the city’s glittering skyline, Rofuto has been flying high since it opened, with this new menu topping off a fantastic first year.
The new-look menu means that diners will now be able to take their pick of Pan-Asian inspired salads, a seafood sharer including whole grilled lobster, teriyaki grilled salmon, and tempura king prawns, and last, but by no means least, a sizzling one kilogram Tomahawk steak, fresh from the charcoal-fueled Robata grill.
However, although the menu has been changed, loyal patrons need not fear; Rofuto continues to serve foodies’ firm favourites like the Robata skewers, salt and pepper squid tempura, and the chef’s selection mixed sushi platter.
Anthony Trueman, General Manager at Rofuto, believes that the new menu will grant Birmingham’s diners a brand-new experience, currently unrivalled in the city. Commenting on the journey so far, Anthony said:
“Rofuto’s reception so far has been fantastic and Birmingham’s has already been so accommodating. With this first year of success under our belt, we wanted to build on this with a revitalised menu, while still maintaining our unparalleled service, our great atmosphere, and our top-quality food.
"We sit at the top of the Birmingham food and drink scene, both literally and figuratively, and we are positive that these changes will ensure that we continue to be a five-star destination for dinner and cocktails.”
Not only is there plenty to try on the main menu, but Rofuto has launched a new Early Bird menu, that proves it pays to book your place before evening rush.
Available Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm until 6.30pm, foodies will be able to take their pick from the Early Bird menu for just £19 for two courses or £24 for three.
A couple of show-stopping plates that are sure to wow include sesame chicken yakitori, crispy suckling pork belly, a wagyu beef burger, and Thai monkfish yellow curry.
Fans of dessert will also be glad to hear that they can choose between matcha green tea tiramisu or mandarin and hibiscus panna cotta to round off their meal.
“Our new offering has been a real labour of love for the team at Rofuto and I know I speak for us all when I say that I am proud to be able to share it with our customers. I hope everyone loves it as much as we do! We have so many more exciting things still to come, including cocktail masterclasses and afternoon teas, and we cannot wait for everyone to experience this new chapter with us.”
